Love yourself – love your body

How many of us have stood in front of the mirror and felt bad about ourselves? We always find something or the other that needs to be changed, some feature that could have been better.

We are bombarded with images in the media of thin and scrawny women who probably starve themselves to be those sizes. And if they don’t, good for them! Studies have shown that by 13 years of age, approximately 53 percent of girls are unhappy with their bodies. And by age 18, that number rises to a staggering 78%!

Did you know that we learn to reject our bodies the way they are? From television, newspapers, so-called friends. But we can also learn to love ourselves.
